District map
HOLBA will help to ensure the district continues to thrive & play a critical role in London’s global success.
The map shows the proposed St Martin’s Business Improvement District. A list of streets can be found below.

St Martin’s is integral to London’s West End, situated between Covent Garden and Leicester Square. It is home to, and surrounded by, some of the world’s leading cultural attractions, including English National Opera, four theatres and the recently refurbished National Portrait Gallery.
While St Martin’s is one of London’s oldest parishes, epitomised by its listed buildings, characterful lanes and independent bookshops, it also faces significant challenges, which are detailed in the SWOT analysis below. These challenges include crime and antisocial behaviour, static footfall levels and the congested Charing Cross Road, with its poor air quality and road safety, deterring visitors from exploring the wider area.
The district’s office sector, which accounts for over 40% of HOLBA members in St Martin’s, is performing well, showing an occupancy rate of 98%. Restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs and hotels, which account for 45% of HOLBA member businesses in St Martin’s, and the antique print shops and bookshops (a notable feature of the St Martin’s District) also enjoy commercial occupancy rates of 98%.
